The Dock Operator is located in Beaumont, TX. This role will serve as a point of contact between the vessel’s crew and the facility, communicating transfer requirements, and ensuring proper connections. The Facility Operator is located in Houston, TX [Channelview area]. This role is responsible for loading and unloading trucks with asphalt products while safely operating facility equipment and following all required PPE and safety procedures. The ideal candidate would live in or around the Liberty, TX area.</div><div><span>Benefits:</span></div><ul><li>100% company provided employee medical insurance</li><li>100% company provided Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance</li><li>Company provided Life Insurance</li><li>Matching 401(k)</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul><div><span>Dock Operator Key Responsibilities:</span></div><ul><li>Maintains a record of all loading activities and ensures that product meets quality standards.</li><li>Completes daily loader pre/post inspection forms in accordance with policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists Tankermen with the safe transfer of liquid materials between vessels and the dock.</li><li>Communicates any unsafe conditions that create an unacceptable risk.</li><li>Operate crane and lifts to deliver cargo to barge and vessel Tankerman.</li><li>Maintain a professional manner while working at the facility.</li><li>Ability to work an on-call rotation schedule.</li><li>Perform other duties at the customer facility as required.</li></ul><div><b>Facility Operator</b> <span>Key Responsibilities:</span></div><ul><li>Maintain yourself in a professional manner while working at the Valero Asphalt - Houston Facility.</li><li>Mandatory attendance for safety meetings is required.</li><li>Show up promptly at the scheduled work start time.&nbsp; Team Members are required to notify Supervisor the night before if sick or unable to make it to work the following day.</li><li>Operate equipment to offload cargo as directed by the facility.</li><li>Wears all required PPE for task and cargo to be handled in accordance with Company, customer and facility requirements.</li><li>Perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks such as completing routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, removing trash and debris from facility, cleaning up loose product, and assisting customer and company crew members on all operational tasks.</li><li>Perform JSA (Job Safety Analysis)</li><li>Communicates any unsafe conditions that create an unacceptable risk that cannot be mitigated to an acceptable level of risk prior to performing any task.</li></ul><div><span>Qualifications:</span></div><ul><li>Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.</li><li>TWIC card &lt;REQUIRED</li><li>Appropriate motor vehicle record with no more than three minor moving violations; no drug-or alcohol related offenses; and no serious/major moving violations.</li></ul>]]></description>
